This exciting opportunity affords CALM the resources to establish an 18-month learning collaborative for up to 18 therapists with dedicated time for training, consultation, and implementation of CPP and the ability to hire and train a new Clinical Supervisor in this modality and CALM&rsquo;s other evidence-based practices. &nbsp;</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>What is Child Parent Psychotherapy?</strong>&nbsp;CPP is an intervention model for children aged 0-5 who have experienced at least one traumatic event (e.g. maltreatment, the sudden or traumatic death of someone close, a serious accident, sexual abuse, exposure to domestic violence) and/or are experiencing mental health, attachment, and/or behavioral problems, including posttraumatic stress disorder (PTSD). Services are provided on-site or in the field as needed for children up to age 21 and their families. The Bilingual Therapist supports the client and their family in meeting their mental health goals. Responsibilities: <ul> <li>Demonstrate core conditions of the therapeutic relationship including empathy, genuineness, authenticity, and unconditional positive regard.&nbsp;</li> <li>Complete clinical assessment and diagnosis with clients to assess their strengths and needs from a clinical perspective. &nbsp;</li> <li>Develop case conceptualization that is informed by biological, psychological, social, cultural factors and protective factors as a framework for the therapeutic process. &nbsp;</li> <li>Develop a treatment plan with measurable and observable goals in collaboration with clients. &nbsp;&nbsp;</li> <li>Provide psychoeducation and parenting support to bolster protective factors and mitigate the impact of Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs).&nbsp;</li> <li>Provide developmentally appropriate and culturally responsive therapeutic interventions. &nbsp;</li> <li>Implement evidence-based modalities to fidelity. &nbsp;</li> <li>Administer periodic assessments to monitor, guide, and communicate treatment progression with clients. &nbsp;</li> <li>Participate in training and work toward certification in appropriate modalities. &nbsp;&nbsp;</li> <li>Provide consistent client care and address issues of engagement to ensure continuity of services. &nbsp;</li> <li>Maintain current knowledge in topics related to the position (e.g., child development, trauma-informed care, secondary traumatic stress, ACEs, etc.). &nbsp;</li> <li>Maintain clinical productivity standards. &nbsp;</li> <li>Participate in evaluation efforts and commit to continuous quality improvement by incorporating feedback and outcome data into the provision of services. &nbsp;</li> <li>Participate in regular administrative and clinical supervision, and agency-wide/program meetings. &nbsp;</li> <li>Complete all documentation in a timely manner and according to agency policy. &nbsp;</li> <li>Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team and serve as a liaison between families, health care providers, and community-based organizations when applicable. &nbsp;</li> <li>Maintain active clinical license/registration with California licensing board (BBS or BOP). &nbsp;</li> <li>Other duties as assigned. &nbsp;</li> </ul>
Requirements: <p><strong>Education and/or Experience:<br /><br /></strong></p> <ul> <li>Master&rsquo;s or Doctorate degree required.</li> <li>Must be either registered or licensed with the Board of Behavioral Sciences as an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist (AMFT), Associate Social Worker (ASW), Associate Professional Clinical Counselor (APCC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) -OR- eligible to be registered with the CA Board of Psychology as a Psychological Associate or Registered Psychologist.</li> <li>2+ years clinical experience working with children and families preferred.</li> </ul> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>Qualifications:<br /><br /></strong></p> <ul> <li>Strong commitment to CALM&rsquo;s mission, vision, and strategic plan.</li> <li>Strong commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion.</li> <li>Must have respect for confidentiality; ability to work with discretion and integrity.</li> <li>Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office and web-based systems.
