Someone who wants to design visuals that can stand alone or enhance the &nbsp;effectiveness of our online and offline B2B marketing initiatives. Reporting to the VP, Marketing, our new Graphic Designer, will play a critical role in the creation of our marketing, sales and web collateral. You will design and prepare rough layouts from sketches to digital graphics through to final artwork and print production. You will have a chance to work on both existing pieces as well as design, develop and roll out your original work within the guidelines of our brand.</p> <p><strong>Who you are</strong></p> <p>You have 1-3 years of graphic design experience as part of a marketing department. Ideally, you have spent some time working on B2B collateral. From longer pieces such as our full website redesign to daily work conceptualizing and designing on-brand graphics for marketing decks. You want to work on graphic design for digital, paper and large format mediums.</li> <li>A small company that makes a big difference. Responsibilities: <p><strong>As our new Graphic Designer, you will:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Conceptualize and develop marketing (traditional and digital), sales and branding collateral. You will create designs that are consistent with our brand guidelines including look, feel and tone. You will be accountable for brand consistency across campaigns and assets.</li> <li>Support the Marketing Department. You will design digital assets (landing pages, website concepts &amp; layouts, display ads and more), event and tradeshow banners and sales collateral (design for Brochures, eBooks, Case Studies, Sell Sheets, Kill Sheets and more).</li> <li>Collaborate. You will be a team player and work with our Marketing Assistants to develop and deliver creative design solutions of varying complexity to support online and offline marketing campaigns.</li> </ul>
Requirements: <p><strong>Here&rsquo;s what you bring:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Education. You have a post-secondary degree in graphic design, fine arts, marketing, business or technology.</li> <li>Passion and the desire to grow. You are passionate about your field and using your talent to make a difference. You are self-motivated and driven to go beyond checking items off on a to-do list. You seek ways to improve and refine the product and the process.</li> <li>Talent and knowledge. You have a discerning artistic eye and a talent for blending a simple colour palette, typography, composition and white space, into modern and timeless images. You understand B2B marketing and how to both follow and push the boundaries to deliver effective visual content.</li> <li>End-to-end expertise. You can take an idea from concept to design creation and beyond. You have hands-on experience with page layout solutions and are comfortable producing a range of print materials and digital applications.</li> <li>Technical skills. You have expertise in the full Adobe Suite of products and other relevant design software packages as well as the Microsoft Office Suite.</li> <li>Outstanding communication and collaboration skills. You can work across teams, communicating with people at any level.
