Responsibilities: <ul> <li>Define equipment, layout and protection requirements for new and retrofit distribution stations in accordance with all applicable industry codes and standards.&nbsp;</li> <li>Must be able to interpret customer requirements and develop appropriate distribution station plans and specifications. &nbsp;&nbsp;</li> </ul>
Requirements: <ul> <li>Strong written and verbal communications skills</li> <li>Broad knowledge of all applicable codes and standards such as IEEE, NESC, NEC and ANSI</li> <li>Ability to specify electrical distribution station equipment</li> <li>Background in physical station layout</li> <li>Understanding of station and utility protection schemes</li> <li>Ability to perform cable sizing and voltage coordination studies</li> <li>Knowledge of power equipment control requirements</li> <li>Ability to perform routing of distribution line</li> <li>BS Degree or higher from an ABET accredited College or University</li> <li>5-10 years of experience and/or training</li> <li>PE required</li> <li>Capable and willing to obtain PE in multiple states</li> </ul>
