Overview: <p><span style="font-weight: 400;">A graphic designer at the midnight oil group must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and juggle many projects at once. You must have the ability to work quickly and efficiently but also be extremely creative and professional. You will be working with clients across a wide variety of industries, including retail, B2B, automotive, beauty, tech and law, so the ability to seamlessly transition creatively is an essential skill. </span></p> <p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Creativity is key in this role, as is the ability to understand how marketing fits into design. Being able to see the bigger picture and create collateral that is both meaningful and effective is at the core of your job duties. We are looking for a self-starter, go-getter and equally talented designer. The majority of our design projects include UX websites, brand identity creation, social media marketing campaigns and marketing collateral. You will be tasked with designing projects and brands from the ground up, as well as working with clients who have established brand standards. </span></p> <p><span style="font-weight: 400;">If you are looking for a traditional 9-5, clock in and clock out job&nbsp;then this is not the position for you! Responsibilities: <ul> <li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Conceptualize and design concepts to completion for all agency clients</span></li> <li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Meet with clients and agency&nbsp;team to determine the scope of projects</span></li> <li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Advise partners on graphic and visual strategies to achieve project goals</span></li> <li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Ensure all marketing materials are correct and free from errors</span></li> <li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Make recommendations for proper marketing material type/vehicle in order to achieve goals</span></li> <li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Design a variety of marketing materials, including brochures, flyers, social graphics, banners, advertisements and digital ads</span></li> <li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Design website graphics, producing an organized body of work for programmer</span></li> <li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Work with existing brand standards as determined by client if applicable</span></li> <li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Develop new, creative artwork for brands</span></li> <li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Oversee graphic design interns</span></li> </ul>

This involves creating new concepts or working within an existing brand style. Must proactively come up with new ideas and creative solutions for clients.</span></li> <li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Time-management skills: must be able to manage multiple projects at once and prioritize easily. Must be able to meet tight deadlines and produce quality work on time.
